Bengals stay pat, but get their practice squad

Rookie running back Terrell Watson is staying as a member of the practice squad.

If the Bengals saw something they liked on the waiver wire Sunday, another team beat them to it because they made no changes to the roster they cut down to 53 players on Saturday.

And none of their undrafted rookies got claimed, so training camp standouts DeShawn Williams, a defensive tackle from Clemson, Azusa Pacific running back Terrell Watson, and Wisconsin-Whitewater wide receiver Jake Kumerow were signed to the 10-man practice squad.

The Bengals got the squad they roughed out before everyone hit waivers and added three more undrafted rookies in Eastern Kentucky tight end Matt Lengel, Nebraska linebacker Trevor Roach, and Oregon cornerback Troy Hill.
