Bengals signing Leshaun Sims, per report

The Cincinnati Bengals continue to overhaul the cornerback position, the latest being the signing of free agent Leshaun Sims, according to Paul Dehner.

A career backup in Tennessee, Sims has appeared in 56 total games (11) starts during his first four seasons in the league after being a fifth-round pick (157th overall) out of Southern Utah in the 2016 NFL Draft. During that time, Sims recorded 115 tackles, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and eight pass deflections.

Sims was mainly a special teams contributor in Tennessee, so it looks like he could essentially replace the role left vacated by Tony McRae, who left this offseason to sign with the Detroit Lions.
