Bengals re-sign RB Cedric Peerman

The Bengals assured leadership will return on special teams by re-signing running back Cedric Peerman on Thursday, The Enquirer confirmed.

This is a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old Peerman went to the Pro Bowl as a special teamer in his last full season of 2015. Last year, he missed the first 10 games of the season due to a forearm fracture suffered in the final preseason game. He was chosen to return over first-round pick William Jackson III when Giovani Bernard went down with an ACL injury.

This will mark Peerman's eighth year with Cincinnati, having signed as a free agent in 2010 following a rookie year spent with Cleveland and Detroit.
