The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed longtime punter Kevin Huber to a one-year contract for the 2021 season, the team announced Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Huber, a 13th-year player by way of the Cincinnati Bearcats, was originally a fifth-round NFL Draft pick of the Bengals in 2009. He stands as the team’s career leader in every significant punting category, including total punts (914), yards (41,362), gross average (45.25), net average (40.22) and inside-20s (315).
The 35-year-old Huber enters 2021 with 190 career games played, the fourth-most in team history behind Ken Riley (207), Reggie Williams (206) and Ken Anderson (192).
