KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict left Sunday's game against the Chiefs with a hip injury in the third quarter and was quickly declared out.
It was a rough night for Burfict and the Bengals' defense. Burfict had only two total tackles prior to leaving the game and missed several tackles throughout the night as the defense struggled to contain the Chiefs speedy offense. Burfict was also informed Friday that he had been fined $112,000 by the NFL for unnecessary roughness against the Steelers the week before.
The Bengals also lost tight end Mason Schreck in the fourth quarter.
