When the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Dax Hill, they knew he was the kind of guy they wanted to on their team. They just weren’t sure exactly where he fit in.
Safety, boundary corner, even in the slot... they tried a bit of everything during Hill’s first three seasons.
The results were mixed, and it is clear that Hill still hasn’t come close to his tremendous potential as an elite athlete.
That is why, despite Hill’s modest numbers so far, the Bengals exercised their fifth-year option on him in late April.
And recently, CB coach Charles Burks hinted that Hill is going to be more productive this season.
