Bengals' Cedric Peerman, back from IR, feels ready to play

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Peerman hasn't seen the play in which he fractured his forearm.

It was a preseason game in August against the Jaguars, and Peerman knew his season might be other before it even begin. It was a tough pill to swallow for the former special teams captain who was coming off his first Pro Bowl.

Peerman was placed on IR at the beginning of the season and hasn't played a snap yet. A core special teams player, he's watched as Rex Burkhead slid into his old role.

"It’s been 10 weeks, been a long time, just the chance to be able to come back again has been a great blessing and I’m just really thankful," Peerman said.
