Bengals and NFL Foundation team up to donate 10k to Cincinnati high school

The Cincinnati Bengals and the NFL Foundation have combined to donated $10,000 to St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Jr./Sr. High School Athletic Department. This donation was made to help continue the school’s football program. The monetary split is not known.

The donation is expected to help the school purchase equipment. This equipment, per a team release, includes helmets, shoulder pads and much more. The reason for the selection of St. Bernard, a public high school in St. Bernard, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, is unknown.

Bengals Executive Vice President and daughter of the team’s owner Katie Blackburn commented on the team’s donation.
