Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and former Miami University RedHawks standout Ben Roethlisberger told reporters Wednesday he's going to do everything he can to play in his team's game Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field despite an injury to his left pectoral muscle.
He added that he's not sure how the muscle was injured during the first quarter last Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. He said the injury bothered him for the rest of the game, which Pittsburgh lost 26-17.
Roethlisberger, 24-8 all-time in the regular season against the Bengals, also told reporters that it hurts "when I reach for something outside the framework of my body or when I push up off the ground.
