Bell, Bengals take it to Steelers in Monday Night Football upset

On Friday, Cincinnati Bengals safety Vonn Bell said he was going to hit the Pittsburgh Steelers between the lines and show the Bengals division rival where they stood.

The statement the Bengals made on the field against the leader in the AFC North on Monday Night Football was even louder.

Cincinnati (3-10-1) beat the Steelers (11-3), 27-17, in primetime at Paul Brown Stadium, earning the most impressive win of head coach Zac Taylor’s career.

“We stepped up to the plate tonight,” Bell said. “(In) Monday Night Football on the biggest stage, we went out there and hit it out of the park.
