Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman Anthony Muñoz said he couldn’t imagine what it would be like if he couldn’t regularly attend school and play sports when he was a child.
Because the coronavirus pandemic has altered the lives of many kids around the country, Muñoz worked with the NFL to develop a virtual program for elementary school students.
Muñoz hosted the first NFL Play 60 Virtual Character Camp on Tuesday, and the program reached 500 students and 66 classrooms in the United States.
“Just like everything else, you’ve got to make adjustments and do things a new way,” Muñoz said.
