Andy Dalton's MRI confirms bone bruise in knee, per report

Chicago Bears starting quarterback Andy Dalton underwent an MRI Monday on the knee he injured Sunday against his former team, the Cincinnati Bengals.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported via Twitter that the results confirmed a bone bruise, and no official determination has been made about Dalton's status for the Bears' next game against the Browns in Cleveland:

Bears head coach Matt Nagy told reporters after Sunday's win against the Bengals that he was pretty sure the long-time Bengals starter did not suffer an ACL injury.

The Bears replaced Dalton with rookie Justin Fields after Dalton hurt his knee at the end of a second-quarter run.
