Andre Smith's return to Bengals no substitute for free-agent linemen lost

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals will reunite with offensive lineman Andre Smith, who agreed to terms on a one-year deal Tuesday, a source told ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.

Smith, the Bengals' first-round pick in 2009, spent seven seasons in Cincinnati but signed with the Vikings during the 2016 free-agency period. He only played four games there due to injuries.

The Bengals have several holes on their offensive line due to the departures of Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler. They re-signed reserve tackle Eric Winston last week.

Terms: One year (financial terms undisclosed)

Grade: C.
