The Bengals’ offense got some good news as Day 1 of training camp kicked off in Dayton.
While they sat out 11-on-11 drills, wide receiver A.J. Green and tight end Tyler Eifert were both able to do some drills during Saturday’s session. They did individual work and offense vs. air drills, so it appears they’re both very close to being a full-go for 11-on-11 work.
Green is recovering from a toe injury that led to him playing just nine games last season and ultimately required surgery to fix. The expectation was the recovery timeline would lead to him not being a full-go when camp began, but seeing able to do individual drills is great to see.
