This year’s Cincinnati Bengals draft class will undoubtedly focus on addressing the trenches on both sides of the ball. The team made a couple of outside free-agent signings, but with big contracts already given to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins — and another still to be resolved with Trey Hendrickson — Cincinnati appears to be relying on its six draft picks to make a meaningful roster impact.
Even though they re-signed B.J. Hill this spring, the Bengals are still seeking additional interior pass-rush help. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has called this class “one for starters,” particularly along the defensive line, which bodes well for Cincinnati’s needs.
