2022 NFL Draft: Bengals trade up to draft Toledo safety Tycen Anderson

The Cincinnati Bengals traded up to the No. 166 overall pick in the fifth round to draft safety Tycen Anderson out of Toledo.

The 6-foot 2-inch Toledo, Ohio native is listed at 209 pounds and ran a 4.36-second 40-yard dash. The NFL.com prospect database graded Anderson a 6.2 on a 10 scale.

The 22-year-old Toledo product was listed at No. 113 on the Pro Football Focus NFL Draft big board. PFF also graded Anderson at an overall 69.3 for the 2021 season.

Through five picks, the Bengals have focused on defense thus far, with four of their five selections going to coordinator Lou Anarumo's side of the ball.
