Why Josh Loeffler went from being the head coach at Johns Hopkins to an assistant at UC

It's been a little over a month since Josh Loeffler upended his family's roots in the East to join the University of Cincinnati's basketball efforts in the Big 12.

A highly successful head coach in Division III at Johns Hopkins (114-27 in five seasons), Loeffler is moving into a supporting role with the Bearcats as Wes Miller's chief of administrative staff.

He is also listed as one of the assistant coaches along with returning associate head coach Chad Dollar and assistants Andre Morgan, Drew Adams and Jake Thelen from last year's staff. Also back are newly promoted Director of Operations Matt Miller and grad assistants Abdul Ado and Malik Massey.
