What we learned in Cincinnati basketball's win without Jarron Cumberland vs. Alabama A&M

Cincinnati basketball defeated Alabama A&M 85-53 Thursday without star Jarron Cumberland.

The senior did not dress out in uniform and watched from the bench as the Bearcats (2-1) held the Bulldogs (0-3) to 32 percent shooting to win their second straight at Fifth Third Arena.

UC junior center Chris Vogt had a double-double with 16 points on 6-for-7 shooting and 10 rebounds. Senior forward Tre Scott added 16 points and eight rebounds and junior guard Keith Williams scored 13 points.

Bearcats' senior guard Jaevin Cumberland, who started in his cousin's place, had 13 points, six assists and five steals.
