What we learned in Cincinnati basketball's win vs. Drake, John Brannen's first UC victory

Coach John Brannen notched his first UC victory Monday as the Bearcats raced by Drake 81-59 at Fifth Third Arena.

Senior guard Jaevin Cumberland paced Cincinnati (1-1) with 17 points by hitting 5-for-10 from 3-point range. Junior center Chris Vogt and senior point guard Chris McNeal each scored 12 points and Jarron Cumberland added 11

UC used a considerable size advantage over the Bulldogs (1-1) to run up points in the paint, and Drake missed 14 of 19 3-point attempts.
