The schedule is highlighted by two compelling non-league matchups this week, starting with the Bearcats’ road trip to Utah to face BYU on Friday night. Then at high noon on Saturday, newly ranked Memphis carries the AAC banner as it hosts fellow Top 25 foe Ole Miss at the Liberty bowl. Tulsa visits ECU in a game that should be a pretty good one (and will give the winner a huge boost in their quest for bowl eligibility). Otherwise, I expect conference frontrunners Houston and Temple to cruise, and USF-UConn should be competitively awful, just as it was last year.
