It’s about to get real in the AAC West division race. Several big games this week kick off a three week stretch that will decide the site and participants for the inaugural American Football Championship Game on Dec. 5. Most notably, Navy and Memphis, both undefeated in league play, meet Saturday night at TDECU Stadium. It’s also looking more and more like the AAC champ will be the Group of Five’s representative in a New Years Six Bowl. Late Tuesday night, the Toledo Rockets’ red glare could be seen for miles – their NY6 chances went up in flames with a home loss to Northern Illinois.
