The Utah Jazz announced Wednesday that the team signed former University of Cincinnati Bearcats forward Tre Scott. Terms of the deal were not released.
Scott, 24, wasn't selected in the 2020 NBA Draft after redshirting and playing four seasons at UC. He signed in October with Leones de Ponce of the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional.
As a senior for the Bearcats, Scott averaged 11.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals in 33.7 minutes per game. He was named 2019-20 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, AAC Most Improved Player, First Team all-AAC and earned the league's Sportsmanship Award.
