Idle since Sunday afternoon's come-from-behind win over Temple, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team takes on a potentially dangerous team in SMU. The Mustangs are coming off a narrow loss at Wichita State on Wednesday, 85-83.
Three days before UC's only conference loss at East Carolina on Jan. 5, the Mustangs mangled the Pirates, 82-54. They also have a 20-point win over Tulsa on their resume as well as a win over Georgetown on the Hoyas' home floor. Minus injured guard Jarrey Foster, SMU is not as deep, playing just seven guys against Wichita State.
