A little over 38 hours after finishing their latest American Athletic Conference victory over Tulsa, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team treads on more treacherous turf, taking on Temple in Philadelphia on Sunday at noon (CBS Sports Network).

UC leads the overall series, but games against the Owls have never been easy, dating back to the Bob Huggins/John Chaney coaching days. Bearcats historians may remember UC's last No. 1 team with Naismith Award winner Kenyon Martin (featuring a young assistant named Mick Cronin on the bench) losing, 77-69, to Temple and a shooter named Pepe Sanchez in late February 2000.
