The University of Cincinnati pulled off a remarkable 21-17 comeback win over rival Miami University last week, and the result helped propel the Bearcats higher in the weekly American Athletic Conference power ratings.
This week's ratings, as voted upon by AAC beat writers:
1. USF (3-0): In the wake of Hurricane Irma, the Bulls delivered their most inspiring performance this year. USF amassed 680 yards in a 47-23 rout of Illinois. QB Quinton Flowers had 386 total yards and five touchdowns (four passing), in a performance reminiscent of his dazzling 2016 season.
