University of Cincinnati Bearcats defeat Milwaukee Panthers with rounded scoring, 74-63

In their third date at refurbished Fifth Third Arena, the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team recorded a 74-63 win against the winless but pesty Panthers of Milwaukee. Though the scoring was balanced and the Bearcats shot 50 percent from the field, they didn't take the lead for good until a Jarron Cumberland 3-pointer with 9:53 remaining.

All five Bearcat starters were in double-figures led by Cane Broome's 17 points. Junior Trevon Scott had 15, Cumberland 14 and Nysier Brooks and Keith Williams had 12 each. On a night with high school football playoffs, 9, 547 were in attendance.
