Xenia senior guard Samari Curtis is one of seven Ohio boys basketball players nominated for the 2019 McDonald's All-American game to be played March 27 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The 24 players who will be chosen to play will be revealed on January 24. Should he be chosen, Curtis will join the likes of Darius Bazley (Princeton), Luke Kennard (Franklin) and OJ Mayo (North College Hill) as players from the region who have made the high honor.

His numbers speak for themselves. Coming into a Tuesday game with Vandalia Butler, Curtis was averaging 33.
