The player with the coolest nickname in college football has seen his name attached to yet another 2023 preseason list. The University of Cincinnati's "Godfather" Dontay Corleone was named to the Associated Press preseason All-American first team Monday, Aug. 21.
Corleone was the only player from the Big 12 and one of two interior linemen to be selected to the first-team defense by AP Top 25 voters.
The former Colerain High standout may have switched his uniform to No. 2 this season, but he's grading out No. 1 in the eyes of many who follow college football closely.
