COLUMBUS, Ohio –The last time a representative of the Big 12 planted a flag in Columbus quarterback Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma had just defeated Ohio State, sparking the anger of Buckeye fans in 2017.
Thursday night, the University of Cincinnati athletic team pulled its Big 12 tour bus into a Columbus suburb, an action less demonstrative than Mayfield, but powerful nonetheless. It was all part of a three-city tour designed to take UC's message to a 300-mile radius of the Corryville campus.

Wednesday, Athletic Director John Cunningham, football coach Scott Satterfield, men's basketball coach Wes Miller and women's basketball coach Katrina Merriweather took the Bearcat road show to Cleveland.
