NEW ORLEANS - For the first time since mid-September, the University of Cincinnati football team won a game here Saturday.
UC held off Tulane 17-16 at the Green Wave's Yulman Stadium, as the Bearcats snapped a five-game losing streak. UC had not won since Sept. 16, a 21-17 verdict over rival Miami University.
How does it feel to finally win again?
"For myself it's one thing, but for those guys in that locker room, the euphoria ... this is what you do it for," UC coach Luke Fickell said. "The joy and the thrills of that right there, that brotherhood, that you finally see some reward for the things that you've done, the sacrifices that you've made.
