The Cincinnati Bearcats face a literally tall task when Central Florida visits Fifth Third Arena at 9 p.m. Wednesday, with UCF featuring 7-foot-6, 290-pound sophomore center Tacko Fall.
Fall, from Dakar, Senegal, is billed by UCF as one of the 40 tallest people in the world. Fall also can play a little basketball, ranking third on UCF with a 12.3 scoring average and leading the team with 9.9 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. Fall also ranks No. 2 nationally with a 74.7 field goal percentage.
UC junior forward Kyle Washington, at 6-foot-9 the tallest Bearcats starter, said he has never faced a player as tall as Fall.
