Things are looking up for University of Cincinnati football recruiting under new head coach Luke Fickell.
With National Letter of Intent signing day coming Wednesday, UC has improved its national rankings on several recruiting websites. UC has the No. 2-rated class in the American Athletic Conference according to Scout.com, No. 4 according to Rivals.com, and No. 5 by 247Sports.com. The ratings may change again Wednesday, as signings happen during the day.
Before former UC coach Tommy Tuberville resigned Dec. 4, the recruiting websites generally had UC rated in the Nos. 8-9 range in the AAC for 2017.
