PHILADELPHIA, Pa -The University of Cincinnati overcame a massive early deficit in an early tip at Temple to upend the Owls on their home floor 72-68 Sunday afternoon. UC has won the last five in the series and leads 22-9 overall.
Just like last year’s game in Philly, it was a back and forth nail-biter at the end. Jacob Evans II hit a jumper to win a year ago, this time it was UC overcoming a 14-point lead to come back on the Owls and take the lead for good on a Keith Williams trey with five and a half minutes remaining.
