FINAL SCORE, Updated 3:33 p.m. - The Cincinnati Bearcats gained their first bowl eligibility since 2015 at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, as UC beat Tulane 37-21 in the Bearcats' Homecoming game.
UC (6-0, 2-0 American Athletic Conference East) was facing a Tulane team (2-4, 1-1 AAC West) that came off a 40-24 upset of Memphis. UC won 49-7 at UConn last week.
With its sixth win, UC reached bowl eligibility for the first time since 2015, when the Bearcats reached the Hawaii Bowl and lost 42-7 to San Diego State.
