The University of Cincinnati jumped from No. 14 to a season-high No. 11 in the weekly Associated Press Top 25 men's basketball poll Monday.
UC (21-2, 10-0 American Athletic Conference) has won 14 consecutive games, most recently an 82-68 win over Connecticut this past Saturday. The Bearcats began the season just outside the AP Top 25, at No. 26.
UC next plays Central Florida (15-8, 6-5 AAC) on Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Fifth Third Arena (ESPNU). The Bearcats have won their last 22 home games, including 14 this season.
The Bearcats' overall 14-game winning streak is their longest since a 15-game streak during the 2013-14 season, the senior year of UC All-American guard Sean Kilpatrick.
