Cincinnati football offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock is clear when asked what he wants from Desmond Ridder this season.
Entering his sophomore season after a successful redshirt freshman campaign as the starter at quarterback, Ridder's development could take an established offense to another level.
"My expectations for him is that he slowly takes the offense over and that we get to place where whatever play is called, if it looks good to him fine and if he feels like he needs to adjust it, let's go," Denbrock said.
