The University of Cincinnati Bearcats (28-7) lost Friday 79-72 to the University of Iowa at Nationwide Arena in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Bearcats, one of six teams to make the tournament nine years in a row, were eliminated in either of the first two rounds for the seventh-consecutive season.
