University of Cincinnati Bearcats junior offensive tackle James Hudson III was ejected from Friday's Peach Bowl against the University of Georgia Bulldogs late in the first half after officials reviewed a late hit by Hudson and determined that there was targeting.
"Just a catastrophic penalty here," ESPN color analyst Dusty Dvoracek said.
Hudson was among eight Bearcats earning first-team All-AAC nods. Another first-teamer, Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, did not play in the first half because of a back issue.
