In 2019, wide receiver Alec Pierce led the Cincinnati Bearcats in receiving yards, but quarterback Desmond Ridder will have to find a new number one target for the next few weeks.
Head coach Luke Fickell said Tuesday that Pierce would miss the next few weeks with a knee injury.
"He had his knee scoped last week, and it will be a few weeks," Fickell said. "We don't know exactly how long, they were hoping to go in and not have to do it, but he's probably going to be a few weeks down."
