For the second time this season, the University of Cincinnati football team has canceled a game because of COVID-19 concerns within the program.
The American Athletic Conference announced Wednesday that the No. 7 Bearcats game at Temple on Saturday has been canceled.
"The scheduled football game between Cincinnati and Temple will not be played due to positive COVID-19 cases and the ensuing contact tracing of student-athletes at both institutions," the statement said.
The game scheduled for Nov. 28 will not be made up and has been declared a no contest.
"Though the schools share a common open date Dec.
