The 9-1 University of Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team is among others receiving votes in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll following its nine-game winning streak and win against rival Xavier in Saturday's Crosstown Shootout.
UC received 73 votes in the poll, good for a ranking of 29th overall. The Bearcats didn't receive any votes in last week's poll. They haven't lost since the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated them, 64-56, in their season opener.
UC will have a significant opportunity to receive even more votes and perhaps even move into the Top 25 with a win Saturday at Mississippi State.
