CORRYVILLE - Despite a 9-1 record, the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team has not yet reached the top 25 this season.
The USA Today/coaches poll has them four back at No. 29, with the Associated Press listing them at No. 27.
A victory Saturday night should change that as UC faces a hot-shooting Mississippi State team on the road. The Rebels (No. 17 USA Today/No. 18 AP) are 8-1 and shot a blistering 19-of-30 from the three-point line in their win over Clemson 82-71.
