It was hardly your ordinary basketball game, as the University of Cincinnati beat Central Florida 60-50 on Wednesday for the Bearcats’ 15th consecutive win.
The No. 11-ranked Bearcats (22-2, 11-0 AAC) faced a major challenge against UCF (15-9, 6-6 AAC), which features 7-foot-6 sophomore center Tacko Fall.
The towering Fall forces most teams out of their typical offensive game plan. Fall blocks his share of shots, ranking 23rd nationally with 2.4 rejections per game. Fall also alters many more shots, forcing players to shoot higher than their normal arc.
A 7-6 man also causes more long-range attempts.
