UC: 5 takeaways from 82-68 win over UConn

It’s almost scary.

The No. 14-ranked Cincinnati Bearcats cruised to an 82-68 American Athletic Conference win over UConn on Saturday at Fifth Third Arena, before a sellout crowd of 13,428.

UC (21-2, 10-0 AAC) is playing at a level rarely seen by Bearcats fans recently. The Bearcats extended their winning streak to 14 games, including 22 straight at home. With the best offense in the 11-year Mick Cronin coaching era (77.7 points per game) and typically stout UC defense (No. 8 nationally in the KenPom.com adjusted efficiency ratings), the Bearcats truly have it all.

“Everything was too easy,” UConn coach Kevin Ollie said of UC.
