Tommy Tuberville doing ABC/ESPN color commentary/analysis for Saturday's Texas Tech-Houston game might only be better if the game was in Lubbock, which Tuberville reportedly compared earlier this year to Siberia and Iraq.
But even though it's in Houston, expect awkwardness. Red Raiders head coach Kliff Kingsbury didn't seem thrilled about the prospect of having to meet with Tuberville, though he showed restraint with his remarks. Video from @CollieronTV of Kingsbury:
Tuberville was 20-17 at Texas Tech from 2010-12, and many say he didn't leave on the greatest of terms. In 2012, Kingsbury said during his introductory news conference at Texas Tech that he wanted to try to schedule UC.
