So much for those thinking the University of Cincinnati had a "trap" basketball game prior to Saturday's Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.
Sure, Northern Kentucky hung for a little while with the Bearcats, but most people wearing red and black had relatively low pulse rates by halftime when UC led the Norse by 17. NKU did get some shots to fall late to whittle the deficit from 20 with 2:54 remaining to the final of 78-65, but the game was never really in question after the midway point of the first half.
