Samari Curtis, a 6-foot-4 Class of 2019 guard from Xenia High School who committed earlier this year to Xavier but reopened his recruitment three months later, announced his commitment Wednesday via Twitter to the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Curtis, a four-star prospect according to 247 Sports and the No. 2-ranked player in Ohio, announced his verbal commitment to Xavier in February, but announced in May that he was reopening his recruitment.
"First, I want to thank Coach (Travis) Steele and the staff of Xavier University for giving me the opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career," Curtis wrote at the time.
