University of Cincinnati football coach Luke Fickell has reportedly found his next defensive coordinator.
Yahoo Sports reported on Monday that the Bearcats are expected to hire longtime Michigan State assistant coach and former Cincinnati assistant Mike Tressel.
Tressel, the nephew of former Ohio State Head Coach Jim Tressel, was the linebackers and special teams coach at UC from 2004-06 under then-head coach Mark Dantonio.
Tressel, who in 2002 was a graduate assistant at Ohio State helping Dantonio, then the Buckeyes' defensive coordinator, followed Dantonio to Cincinnati.
Tressel, Dantonio and Fickell were all a part of Ohio State's coaching staff.
