With about 45 seconds left in the third quarter in Dallas on , University of Cincinnati Bearcats starting quarterback Desmond Ridder appeared to throw up on the field, leaving his status for the rest of UC's game against the SMU Mustangs temporarily in question - though he returned minutes later to the Bearcats' sideline and was seen joking with teammates.
"It appeared that Desmond Ridder just threw up on the field there prior to the snap!" ESPN2 play-by-play broadcaster Beth Mowins said. "He takes the snap, throws it out to the edge. The pass is incomplete.
