The Cincinnati Bearcats hit the road again, this time all the way out to Provo, Utah to face BYU, interestingly the Cougars’ third AAC visitor in a row. Here’s a breakdown of UC’s next opponent.
OFFENSE
BYU appears to be a fairly pedestrian offensive team when you look at the raw numbers; 63rd in total offense averaging 408 yards per game, 79th in scoring 27.7 points per game. There’s two big caveats with that; Michigan, the country’s best scoring defense, and UCLA, the country’s 30th best passing defense. Outside of those games the Cougars are averaging over 35 points per game which would put them about 30th nationally.
